
Jim Yovino
Superintendent of Schools, Fresno County
Jim Yovino currently serves as Superintendent of Schools for Fresno County after serving as Deputy Superintendent. He has held positions in education from classroom teacher and coach to principal in Fresno, Dinuba, Central and Clovis unified school districts. He is a champion for all children by advocating for career technical education and the arts, as well as addressing issues of poverty, intervention, civility, homelessness and the importance of early education. In 1989, he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts degree in Physical Education and a teaching credential from Fresno State. He later graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a Master in Education.
